Reconnect with the spirit of baseball
We just watched my nephew TREY play a pair of high school baseball games in MARION, IOWA.
Trey's PRAIRIE HAWKS (of Cedar Rapids) defeated BURLINGTON, 9-4, and hosts MARION, 13-9, in the HEALD-JACKSON BASEBALL CLASSIC.
I've watched plenty of live Major League baseball this season.
Today, it was fun to experience the game at a simpler level.
Players batted, caught, pitched and ran for the love of the game.
The hot dogs were big and cheap, the super nachos featured homemade taco meat and the seats were the folding chairs we packed in our car's trunk.
It was a nice way to reconnect with the spirit of baseball.

adidas Originals continues to grace it’s retro models with the use of snakeskin and for Fall, the brand has brought out their latest collection. Known as the adidas Originals ‘Snakeskin’ Pack, two models are highlighted.The two pairs shown are the classic adidas Stan Smith nmd runner and the adidas Superstar 80s. Both will come with a White upper along with nubuck material with a snakeskin texture overlay. The Superstar will use leather across the heel tab and Three Stripes down the side which is dipped in Black. The Stan Smith will have perforated yeezy boost 750 Three Stripes branding along with Green on the heel and tongue.The adidas Originals Snakeskin Pack is a women’s exclusive release which is available now at adidas Originals retailers like Feature. For September, the brand will launch the adidas Originals Gazelle ‘Ostrich’ Pack using a premium theme.Two pairs of the adidas Gazelle will come in the new Ostrich Adidas Superstar Pack, one will use Yellow and the other is in Black. Through the base and eyestays is the use of nubuck while the Three stripes will feature Ostrich leather. In addition, the Trefoil logo on the tongue is done in Silver while White lands on the heel.
